The logistics solution built for BVS is a unique system that includes web, tablet and mobile applications covering the full cycle of fuel delivery, from the vendor’s fuel farm to the client’s gas stations.
The platform contains a set of tools for managers, logistics specialists, drivers and decision-makers to manage business performance, thus helping to optimise and automate the work of the logistics department. Its main functions include processing fuel delivery requests, real-time fleet monitoring, creating route lists, printing bills and generating reports, among others.

Business logic creation
The aim of the project was to create a completely new solution to automate workflow and reduce the human factor. SSA Group built the business logic from scratch. It was crucial to think through work algorithms for the whole system in order to enable seamless integration of the ERP, GPS, OSRM and online billing and reporting services.
Improving the user interface
Once the business logic was set, the next step was to create a user-friendly interface. Due to the specifics of BVS’s workflow, the interface is extremely high load and needed to contain a great deal of indicators and data. It was therefore essential to create a convenient interface with all the necessary information on one page to eliminate the need to constantly switch between different pages, thus saving managers’ time.
MVP testing in real time
The project was intended to change the entire company’s workflow as it pertains to manual activities for years to come. During the MVP testing, the SSA Group team collaborated closely with BVS logistics and sales managers to improve the business logic and ensure that the software was convenient and easy to use.
SSA Group team was steadily working on increasing the product's functionality which resulted in a successful release. The project is currently supported by a support team containing a Project manager, two ASP.NET Fullstack developers and a Manual QA Engineer.
