It has been a while since our last SSA PeopleOps product update, but we certainly haven’t been standing still. The summer has been particularly productive, with significant progress across the platform.
From completing our transition to a brand-new design to launching one of the most comprehensive parts of the system—the redesigned Employee Profile—we have plenty of updates to share.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in our human resource management system and what comes next.
We have officially completed the transition of SSA PeopleOps Suite to its new design, which is now fully built on top of the SSA UI kit—SSA Group’s proprietary open-source React-based component library. All existing modules now follow the updated interface, providing users with a more consistent and convenient experience across the platform.
The final—and most extensive—part of this redesign was the Employee Profile, which is now in production.
As one of the core components of our employee management software, the Employee Profile brings comprehensive employee information together in one place. This helps HR managers and department heads quickly access the information they need for day-to-day people operations and informed workforce management.
The redesigned Employee Profile provides a structured overview of each employee through 16 dedicated tabs:
This structure transforms the Employee Profile into a centralized source of employee-related information rather than requiring HR managers and department heads to work with fragmented records.
By keeping professional background, skills, project experience, assessments, compensation information, documents, and other employee data within a single employee management system, SSA PeopleOps supports more efficient HR processes and makes employee information easier to navigate.
One of the features we are particularly proud of is the Assessment tab.
It provides a comprehensive six-stage employee assessment process designed with project-based and service-centric companies in mind. At the same time, the process remains flexible: the number of stages can be reduced depending on the specific goals of an assessment.
The assessment process makes it possible to evaluate both soft and hard skills, collect feedback from clients and peers, and identify areas for further professional development.
The results can then contribute to an employee’s Personal Development Plan, helping companies connect performance assessment with clear priorities for upcoming self-development.
This approach makes assessment more than an isolated HR activity. It becomes part of ongoing people management, employee development, and performance improvement.
Our next major step is the Employee Self-Service module, which will also introduce time-tracking functionality.
With this addition, we are continuing to develop SSA PeopleOps as a comprehensive people operations platform for companies that rely on highly skilled specialists and need HR processes that reflect the realities of project-based work.
