Head of DevOps department

SSA Group is looking for a Head of DevOps department to work on a permanent basis.

 Candidate requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience on DevOps/System Administrator positions
• Proficient in Linux/Unix/Windows OS administration and configuration (Windows 10, MacOS; Server 2008/2012+, FreeBSD, Ubuntu Server)
• Strong focus on automation
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with configuration management tools (puppet, chef)
• Virtualization systems (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services
• Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Perl, Shell, Ruby, Python)
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server DBMSes
• Excellent English skills (Upper-intermediate)
• Self-disciplined, goal-oriented, good team player, excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

 Responsibilities:

• Present our company expertise in DevOps sphere
• Develop and further implement DevOps strategies for all internal and external audiences
• Set up and configure DevOps processes for web, mobile and desktop applications
• Lead and mentor DevOps Department team
• Lead and mentor System Administration Team (2-3 specialists) responsible for the company’s infrastructure
• Take part in searching for potential clients in close cooperation with Business Development Managers
• Manage DevOps processes to assure timely delivery of projects
• Account management with partners and clients
