SSA Group is looking for a Senior FPGA/Digital design engineer to work on a permanent basis.


You’ll be working alongside industry leaders in high-speed imaging solutions, developing hardware and software for the operation of digital cameras, connection hubs, storages as well as highly integrated systems that include data acquisition and signal synchronization modules. The product lines embrace industry standards such as high-speed USB and Gigabit Ethernet to supply plug-and-play instruments that are reliable, cost-effective, and easy to use, including the newest PIV image acquisition and processing software.


The globally-located project team is up to 20 leading scientists in the fields of applied physics, imaging sensors, digital camera design, and software, united by a desire to create the best possible solutions and by the ability to break new ground and discover something even better. Many of the project team scientists have been working on the project since the beginning, sharing a passion and pride in their work that drives our company’s constant push forward.

Candidate Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in developing the RTL (Verilog or VHDL) for Xilinx FPGAs (e.g. Kintex-7/US/US+, Zynq 7000/US+) using Xilinx tools – Vivado/Vitis
  • Good experience with multi-clocks high speed designs, ability to resolve timing violations with help of proper coding and constraints development
  • Experience with IP cores from Xilinx like Ethernet MAC (1G/10G), Aurora, PCIe/XDMA is very desired
  • Strong experience with Chipscope analyzer and XSDB, ability to read and understand the schematics in order to create the constraints
  • Good communication skills, ability to work both in a team and independently, respectful attitude towards colleagues
  • Intermediate English
Will Be a Plus
  • Experience in C programming for bare-metal applications based on MicroBlaze or ARM (Zynq) platforms
  • Knowledge in video processing, building U-boot and Linux images for Zynq FPGAs family
  • Develop the FPGA FW for high-speed cameras, recorders, and other auxiliary devices
