Senior Data Scientist for AI Projects in Oil & Gas industry
SSA Group is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to be part of a team working on a number of AI-related projects for the oil and gas industry.
Our client is one of the leaders in Canada and the USA in providing business process automation solutions for oil & gas enterprises.
Project
A series of projects related to:
- Processing of chart images to get sensor information
- Extraction and structuring of document data for future analysis
- Optimization of field services for effective route planning and inventory management
- Detection of anomalies in SCADA systems data and filling the gaps in real-time data
Technology Stack
- Python
- Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.
- Azure, Data Lake, Data Warehouse
Team
Product owner, business analysts, data scientists and software engineers
Candidate Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Data Science
- 6+ years of experience working with Python
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or other related areas
- Strong knowledge and good experience in computer vision, NLP, AI planning, regression analysis
- Experience in deep learning using artificial neural networks
- Experience in Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow
- Experience in SQL Server, Data Lake, Data Warehouse
- Experience in direct communication with top managers to collect requirements, offer solutions, and present work results
- English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
